Irvin D. Yalom – “In therapy, as in life, we meet ourselves again and again in a thousand disguises on the path of self-discovery.”
Let’s Talk About it.
We’re often taught that asking for help isn’t okay—that we need to stay strong and keep moving. So, we put on a mask. Maybe it’s the mask of perfectionism, control, humor, people-pleasing, or staying busy. We all do it, and over time, we get pretty good at hiding what’s underneath. But eventually, that mask gets too heavy, and it starts to crack, revealing the signs of unprocessed pain—like anxiety, depression, irritability, low motivation, or struggles in relationships.
You don’t have to carry it all alone. Let’s talk it through, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
When Words Aren’t Enough.
Sometimes, we get so lost in our thoughts that we struggle to put our feelings into words. Our mind and body disconnect, especially when trust feels hard because people have let you down, or simply weren’t listening. Art therapy offers a gentle, non-verbal way to process your experiences and reconnect with yourself—no judgment, no critique, no words needed.
I’m here to support you, to understand what your art expresses, and to walk with you on your healing journey.
An individual therapy session is a safe, welcoming space just for you. It’s a time where you can bring whatever is on your mind—no pressure, no judgment. Sessions often start with a casual check-in to see how you've been feeling, and then we go from there. Some days, you might feel like talking things out; other days, you might need more guidance or tools to manage specific challenges.
We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and I’ll be there to listen, ask questions, and help you explore your thoughts and emotions. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” things; it’s about helping you understand yourself better, work through whatever feels heavy, and find new ways to handle life’s challenges.
